Meditations alone won’t bring you peace and help you to know yourself. Your depression won’t be healed by one visit to a therapist. Your life won’t be changed by one epiphany.

Sorry to tell you the hard truth, but one oil change won’t fix all your problems. It’s not like believing that one oil change will keep your car lubricated for the rest of your life.

  • Your Key to Everything in Life Is Commitment
  • You must be committed to making a change in your life

It is a lifetime-long process of identifying what you want and working towards it. Some people believe that you can make a difference in a matter of seconds. All that is required to make a change in your life is to desire something or to be willing to change. While I would agree with this statement, it does require a commitment to change in that moment.

You can make a difference in your life if you’re willing to do so. It is possible to heal an injury or experience and move on. You can change in a matter of seconds and then you’ll be able to either continue the change or return to your old life with your old results.

Commit To A New Way Of Being

Another option is to choose to change your way of being. You have the option to choose to be the new you or to change your ways. Every day, you choose the you that is.

It is a commitment to being who you are. Just like a first date between two people doesn’t make for a deep and committed 30-year marriage. It can be a 30-year marriage but you have to make a decision each day for the next 30 years. It is important that each person on that date decides to see each other repeatedly and again to build this relationship.

Do not limit yourself to one experiment

Many people view life as a series random events unconnected. Every day of your life, from the people you are born into to the stranger who offered to help you when you were in greatest need, is connected.

Without a passion for cooking and a grandmother, a world-class chef may not have been able to become one. If a comedian is successful, it doesn’t necessarily mean they made people laugh.

If their Dad didn’t teach them to make deals, your friend may not be the greatest monopoly player ever. If you didn’t commit to something, you might not have grown stronger, found a job, and met the woman who broke your heart.

Your past does not define you

Your life and all the moments in it have shaped you into who you are today. Your past does not define you, I want to be clear.

You don’t have to be an electrician today in order to become an actor. You can make new decisions and start a new career. These things might not happen all at once. You need to take time to strengthen your commitment.

It is important to show our bodies and minds that this is the new way of being. It is important to allow ourselves to adapt and improve our skills. Different people have different time requirements.

Your Body And Mind Might Rebel At First

Your body will rebel if you start to wake up at 6am after sleeping for 10 years. Your body will tell you it can’t. It might make excuses like “this isn’t good for you”, “you can’t do that”, “mercury has gone retrograde”, or “I’m disturbing my dog’s sleep.”

It will take time for your body and mind to adjust to this new reality. This will eventually happen, and you will experience a new normal. If you are committed, this could become your new reality.

Each Day Is A New Opportunity

Every day offers you a chance to renew your commitments about who you want to become. This is a chance to be open to the possibility of this new thing working for you. Each new situation can bring about a new opportunity. You can either grab the opportunity to make it a part of your daily life, or let it go.

Meditating only once didn’t make me more relaxed, less reactive, or have a wider outlook on life. It’s something I do every day and it makes me feel more fulfilled than the time I spent. When I first started meditation again, I couldn’t even last 2 minutes. It was so frustrating that I couldn’t stop. My mind and body rebelled. I then made excuses for why it didn’t work.

It was difficult to take the first step. The first step is often the most difficult. However, it will become easier as you continue to go. This is true in most cases. This doesn’t mean that you won’t face challenging days in the future.

You’ll discover more things that work if you are willing to give everything you have a chance and you’re committed. Because you gave it a fair shot, you will also learn what works and what doesn’t. Once you get past all the BS excuses, this is what usually happens.

Give it a chance

Give it a chance. Your first impression may not always be what you will see over the course of your entire life. It’s almost like reading a book cover and judging it once you have tried it.

I don’t know if you are able to relate, but I’m still trying to learn this lesson. It’s not so much about people but about experiences. This topic comes up so many times in my daily life. It is often the opposite of what you expect. It brought me strength, joy, love, and freedom, which I realized in the end. The same applies to this blog.
